What about labour rights?

Ah, springtime! Every tree has an outburst and everything is covered in pastel petals. It’s easy to forget that behind every bouquet, there’s real work: the hands that planted bulbs, the farmers who tend gardens, the couriers who deliver bouquets on time. So before we smell another flower, let’s ask some questions.

First of May isn’t just for daisies, it’s a reminder that justice should bloom too. Spring is a season of renewal, growth and possibility. If tulips can push through concrete, then so can our collective push for dignity and rights. This May Day, let’s celebrate not just the blossoms, but the voices growing stronger. After all, a fairer world is something we can all help water.
